VISIT TO CHESTER

ON 16Th. NOVEMBER 2006

This trip started at Birkdale on the 09.32 train to Hunts Cross, I alighted at Liverpool Central to find no trains round the loop due to a signalling failure in the Moorfields/Lime Street area, I walked to James Street where due to lack of adequate information I missed my train and had to wait half an hour for the next one. On arrival at Chester I paid a quick visit to the depot before walking into the centre I photographed at various locations around the centre, noted was 105 in old style livery but with a new style liveried front!. On the return journey I had to change trains at Rock Ferry “due to a technical failure” and a replacement train was waiting, by this time trains were running round the loop. I alighted at Birkdale and walked home. This trip was also the first full scale photo session for my new camera which I am well pleased with.
