I'm afraid the ability to page a guide went out with the demise of the Host/Guide programme. If you are having problems in a Chat Room then use the Notify AOL button and also I suggest the Ignore facility.

The ignore button does not work, all it does is stop you seeing what they are posting but you then see the other people's responses to the problem person, so of no use whatsoever, the only alternative is to leave the room. which when doing that your problem person has won.
AOL does not respond to these problem people at all.
We all pay our subscriptions and yet these people are allowed to drive you out of where you wish to be. -

Can you please explain to me why the above is an offense?....l want an explanation please. We still live in a democratic country. A country where freedom of speech is a 'right'. What have l said, in the above, that is SO offensive or wrong? I am a hard working law abiding British citizen, born and brought up in this country. l pay my taxes, and National lnsurance etc etc.
As far as l'm concerned this sort of censorship will only make things worse in the long run. Did you recieve any other complaints about the above comments from any other aol members ?? This whole incident has now made me very very angry, because my freedom to express my views is being violated by you. Can you also explain to me what is the point of chat rooms if people are not allowed to air there views?

you can still page a mod just as you used to page a guide just put PAGE MODERATOR in as a keyword and bingo in two hours one will pop up LOL

hi I hope you can help me,I am having problems with aol and it only wants to sign me in as a guest,i had recently deleted my blog and wanted to start up another one,but every time i try i get a 'blogs are unavailable' message,could it be because my aol is still signing me in as a guest? Its crazy seeing as aol have not sorted this problem out for me yet,thanx zoe xx
