This is not quite the same but my concern is that nobody monitors what patients are eating. My girl friend was a vegetarian and she had to tell them at every meal time. They monitor the medication but patients could starve to death before some one does something about it.Another concern is bed sores should they have an expert on treating these instead of leaving it to the nurses,my g/f had horrific bed sores, alas she has passed away.

In this instance are we not looking at basic care? Should any care assistant, nursse or other carer not recognise this basic fact? Am I wrong or is it the basic duty of nurses or care assistants to ensure the wellbeing of the patients entrusted to their care? In these instances are we not looking at basic care? Is this not the foundation of nurseing, or have I missunderstood the basic principle of care.

In this day and age are there too few careres or nurses to meet the need, or is completion of task the priority?

One may need to look at basic human rights, and ask,in what is supposed to be a careing scoicety, are we discharging are duty of care. I think not.

Ok thinking as I type here....check on the inter net for groups for the elderly, disabled, churches all faiths and find a contact number. explain the Campaign is Feed The Sick and ask that they put your address on their sites. Follow all this up with an email saying the same. Try to speak to Chair person. Hunt a Celeb as a 'face' to the campaign check out who has had a poor experience or may sympathise ..... Put a Petition online via You Gov .Keep me posted via email and Good Luck  to you and this worthy cause
