Then there is Benny Hinn with his expensive suits, flash watches , big cars and houses, the show business approach with all the theatrics of the west end of London, put that together with a little false doctrine, a touch of heresy and his latest request for finances from those whom seem to be lacking in Biblical discernment that they dig deep in their pockets to throw their money at him. What is his latest plan? Dove one is the plan, Benny's own luxury Gulfstream G4SP jet in which he can fly around the world quicker without having to wait around airports, thus saving more people quicker , he is even willing to grant his own indulgences ,Your name will be "placed prominently in a special area of Dove One where he studies and pray's during his travels, where he will also pray for you and your family as he  goes around the world preaching the Gospel". What would JESUS spend the six million quid that this jet will cost, on? Even the Pope geezer flies Alitalia. Anyway thats my opinion, I have to go now and watch Samuel Jackson's latest film, Snakes on a plane !

In the not to distant future all cash will cancel, it will become obsolete and be replaced by a plastic smart card which will contain all your personal details and also your finances. It will be used to purchase goods by electronically transfering funds from your account into the account of the person from whom you have made a purchase. These cards will become a major part of our daily lives and it will be difficult to function without them. However these cards will have a limited lifespan as there are major faults with them such as, they can be lost , stolen, bent, copied and wiped by a magnet. This leaves the way open for another piece of Biblical prophecy ……….. Revelation 13 v 16.

This technology is already well developed and in use to some extent, our pets are chipped, prisoners on early release are monitored using electronic tags, everything you buy and where you buy it from is recorded if you use any form of credit card, street camera's observe your movements in a growing number of places and your personal details are recorded by various companies and agencies whom share their information. Soon YOU will be required to receive a chip/implant in your right hand or forehead, probably not compulsary to start with but conditions will develop to the extent that it will eventually become compulsary, YOU will not be able to buy or sell without it, should you refuse it you will become an outcast ! However if you do take the mark you have submitted to the government of the antichrist. A great world leader will appear on the scene , he will seem like a breath of fresh air & a solver of all the worlds problems, but before long he will show his true colours and the world will realise too late  that he is a ruthless, evil dictator. The only person to put your trust in is the Lord JESUS CHRIST in whom alone is eternal life.

Well, some of you may remember my posting around this time last year with regard to Christmas cards. Well the situation has not improved, it seems that only 1% of Christmas cards sold in England this year have had any religious significance, I have done a survey of cards sent to me this year, and this is the breakdown of their themes,

I received 4 cards declaring the true meaning of Christmas, among the rest was a selection which included:

Robin Redbreasts.
Snowflake shapes.
Penguins.
Old English themes
The donkey from Winnie the Pooh
Reindeers
Christmas tree.
Father Christmas

Just as I mentioned last year, what is the significance with penguins? It seems that they are becoming more influential each passing year. Where did this come from and why? Penguins are found spread around the southern hemisphere in places such as New Zealand, South Africa & Antarctica, what this has to do with the Christmas story, let alone the Father Christmas aspect of it is puzzling. Don’t get me wrong, I like penguins ( I couldn’t eat a whole one though) but lets get a grip! Christmas is about CHRIST. GOD in the flesh coming down to sort us out and get us saved, being born of a virgin in very humble circumstances and being adored by the sheep keepers whom watch their flocks in the stoney hills around Bethlehem and  I don’t recall seeing any penguins in school nativity plays either.

May I suggest to you all that come next year, you make a concerted effort to send only CHRIST related cards, remember that there is a reason for the season !!!

The other day at work someone made the comment about an individual being possessed, I replied in response that I did think that some of the situations we deal with were spiritual. When I was asked to comment why, I explained for instance how I have prayed against individuals hearing voices only for the voices to cease when I prayed. How I had also been in the room when certain people were doing Reiki and other new age healing stuff and when I have sat quietly in the corner praying behind a newspaper, that the heat & feeling have gone, to the frustration of the person doing the stuff. How  I have observed people self harming and prayed for them as they did so, only to cease them cease and get up as though nothing has happened. One colleague whom participates in acupuncture said, ' I dont beleive all that GOD stuff ' and began to talk about how she had watched a T.V docu about the plagues of Egypt stating one scientist has came up with this theory about a volcano exploding causing dust to fall into the river turning it red making all the frogs leave, in reality it was a theory even harder to beleive than the theory that we evolved from monkeys. (Some people actually beleive that also) Anyway I was racking my brains what to say to this and as I did, I remembered one of my earlier blogs about JESUS and the woman caught in adultery. JESUS sat silently as they were ranting & raving, I think He was waiting on a word from the FATHER. I did the same I sat and listened. I then said to the gathering, ' The plagues were actuallyone after the other and each seperate plague was a direct judgement against the false gods of Egypt, such as the plague of darkness being a judgement against Horus, the Egyptian sun god. Also the river Nile being turned into blood was a judgement against Hapi, the Nile river god of Egypt, who was powerless to do anything as YHWH turned the river into blood something which the Egyptians thought was unclean. Regading the frogs, This judgement was against Heqt the frog goddess whom was powerless against the true GOD of israel. Seb was mocked, Hathor was mocked, Imhotep, Serepia and Amunre were mocked, all the false gods of Egypt were exposed and defeated by the LORD GOD of Israel.

The conversation fizzled out there but the point was made. Later I pondered as to why people are always keen to try and disprove the Bible despite its 100% accuracy rate regarding prophecy and at the same time they try to prove astrology and Nostradamus which are so vague and laughable. But scripture states :

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear

They will reject the truth and follow strange myths

2 Timothy 4 v 3-4

FATHER, I ask that you would give wisdom to your lost sheep, give them understanding and cause them to see through the deception around them that they may come to the throne of grace, in JESUS name. Amen.

The other day while I was at work, a colleague from another department came to my unit as part of her duties. When she saw me she said, "Mr 3 Lions (Not my real name) Have you won the lottery"? I said, "No, I don't even do the lottery". She replied, "Well you should, I had a dream that you won it, I am a little bit psychic, you need to do it". I politely informed her that 'I dont need to win the lottery  nor will I do the lottery.' At this point colleagues on my unit began to egg me on to do the lottery, I declined of course.

Later I pondered this. What if I did put a ticket on and it won? If I did this then who would get the glory?  I quite correctly thought to myself,  'If I do the lottery & I win then my testimony of trusting in the LORD is tarnished & satan can claim credit for my win by me taking his advice to do it because he is the one behind such psychic shananigans. Now to be honest, I would love a few quid , especially to pay off the mortgage, do a bit more travelling & to buy an old American car as well as look after my 2 young Lion Cubs, but I prefer GODs direction, The author of Hebrews tells us in Hebrews 13 v 5 - Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have , For He himself has said  "I will never leave you nor forsake you". This is enough for me , I am a sinner , saved by grace (GODs unmeritted favour) and he says he will never leave or forsake me. Wow! Is the Pearl of great price not greater than any lottery win?

FATHER, I ask that you will continue to reach out by your SPIRIT to those whom put their trust in gold & silver, help them understand that it cannot save them, nor can they take it with them when they die. Cause them to put their trust in JESUS, Pearl of great price. Amen.

Okay dear readers, as promised here is part 2 of my series titled 'JESUS, what a Geezer'. For my reader's who don't know what geezer means , please read on. Geezer is an expression commonly used in London to describe a bloke, JESUS being a diamond Geeezer (top, decent, respected bloke) but that title is to long. Basically with these articles I am hoping to show you how JESUS despite being a bloke is able to answer and rise above every challenge that comes His way. He is the Geezer of Geezers! Okay read on:

The Pharisees were always trying to catch JESUS out, they had failed to do so on numerous occassions, for example , the incident with the woman caught in adultery. Now they were at it again, they are not very original in their approach, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, nor do you pay attention to anyone's status, but teach the truth about GOD's will for people; Tell us , is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not"?  Those sneaky rascals, Just how dodgy are they?           

The Master of course is well schooled in cool and knowing what they were up to said, " Show me a denarius". This they did.

"Who's image & inscription is on it"? "Caesars" they replied. 

"Then give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to GOD what is GOD's".

Oh can you hear the silence (amongst the Pharisees that is) because amongst the followers of JESUS was loud rejoicing,  its now 2-0 to their Master with little chance of the  Pharisees ever levelling the score. Of course the Pharisees got their way in the end by having JESUS crucified and buried thus thinking it was all over. However 3 days after this JESUS rose up from the dead sending out the message " They think it's all over - IT IS NOW".....
