New in time management: Delicious 2

I'm not a massive fan of the huge array of Diner Dash clones kicking around, but have to say in the most earnest fashion possible that Delicious 2 is very, very good. Top three games of the year sorta good.

All the usual time management tricks are present - upgrades, different customers etc. - but what sets this game apart is:

1. It looks fantastic - with a story line you can at least partially enguage with

2. A playability curve that is just perfect.

3. It features additional characters - so you have a guitar strumming guy and an additional bus boy to help you clear tables

4. It gets hard. Really hard. But in a way that feels rewarding
