Prime Suspects help


A couple of people have emailed asking for hints as to how you solve the Jewel Box puzzle in Prime Suspects. WARNING - this contains spoilers.

HINT #1: The thief left a clue noted in your casebook.

HINT #2: I bet the jewel thief was talking about that Danger sign you saw over by the old Tenement building!

HINT #3: If the green circles are numbered 1 to 8 in a clockwise fashion this sequence might open the box

Click circle 1 and slide the gem to circle 4
Click circle 6 and slide the gem to circle 1
Click circle 3 and slide the gem to circle 6
Click circle 8 and slide the gem to circle 3
Click circle 5 and slide the gem to circle 8
Click circle 2 and slide the gem to circle 5
Click circle 7 and slide the gem to circle 2
