3. Westward
This has only been out for a month or so, but has quickly become the games team’s game of the year. Westward is a real time strategy game, where you control the characters from a top-down perspective (think Virtual Villagers). Your goal is to create a settlement from scratch – putting together housing, mining gold and harvesting food – and completing a series of different tasks. Think The Sims meets Civilization. With over 30 hours of gameplay for your £11.99, this was great value too.
