7. Cake Mania

The fourth restaurant-come-action game in our chart. Cake Mania doesn't do much different from the Diner Dashes of the world, but it looks good, plays well (the learning curve feels just right), and boasts enough nice touches to stand out. Upgrading your kitchen requires some strategic play, or your business will grind to a halt. And there's a decent stab at comic timing too - can you serve Dracula before he scares away your customers?
