A flying visit again folks - am waiting to get broadband up and going - in the meantime am having to pay local phone charges, whilst online.

  I understand that at that site many travelers carved grafetti into the gate.    The pavilion erected in 1753 was beyond the gate it seems.   The B/W photo's are excellent in representing a historical point of interest and still standing structure.    mark
