Ye Olde English Posy

It's Photo Hunt time again, courtesy of Krissy and her sister Val - your favourtie food(s). This was one was easy peasy: Anythin' that's free! Surprisin' what yer can find if in the fields an' hedgerows, or down the garden. Cooking apples from me own tree, an' from the countryside: crab apples, blackberries, sweet chestnuts, wild gages an' mushrooms, to name a few. I bin an' cheated though an' added a free drop o' booze - sloe gin. That stuff tickles yer palette and warms yer cockles! Well here they are - free for the pickin'.

  Yum yum!!! Ive been out scoffing blackberries this aft, plus a few field mushrooms. Plenty of wild apple trees to be got at as well. Havent you noticed all the acorns and conkers this year. Am told via the daily mail we are in for a hard winter, lets hope they are wrong as my central heating boiler has just packed in. So, till it is fixed we have no hot water or heating. Luckily we can still cook, will just have to boil kettles for washes etc.
