If you've been following this blog, then you've heard of Marie and maybe her twin Steff Benham, Tremeloes' Bob's missus. And, of course, seen a pic of Marie in her nearly altogether.

Steff found the blog on-line last week and let Marie know. So we are back in touch after ... what ... 35 years? Amazing.

Now, Twins, you knew more rock people than I did back in the Sixties. So let's have a few memories posted as comments to this entry. How about Vanity Fayre? More about Andy Fairweather Lowe? Spencer Davis? Who else.

    There was plenty of excellent talent in Wales back in the late 60's and onward, pitty none of them actually made anything of themselves, close but no cigar, well with one or two exceptions!  I saw Dave Edmunds in California years ago, he looked well and Terry Williams was drumming for him - what an excellent drummer he is, always wondered what happened to him?  They all remembered me from jayVee Ents, we used to have some good laughs those days.  Remember one event in particular with regard to Langland Bay hotel, an evening when the local constabulary came to visit, I think it was the CID squad.  Members of Love Sculpture were in their dressing room smoking and who knows what else, so I sent someone back there to give them a heads up.  I actually got a call the following day to thank me for that one.

    Talking about riding in an old van.  Returning from a gig down in Pembroke with Love Sculpture, their van broke down, they managed to fix it but were unable to drive all the way back to Cardiff, they actually spent the night in the living room of my parents house so that first thing in the morning they could go and ask Verney for funds to purchase a new one.  They owe me!!!!
