UPDATE ON DEBBIES FAMILY AND ARRANGEMENTS

PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS FAMILY-THE ROAD AHEAD WILL BE HARD....

Debbie, Steve and the family were in Independence, Ks. Yesterday for the viewing.....Debbie said it really gave them comfort to see Shannon's peaceful expression.....tho' it was so painful...it helped them also deal with the reality....Debbie's faith is strong...she trusts somehow, the Lord will be glorified and bring good out of this tragedy.....
They also went to Shannon's home...and she found some poems written by Shannon...one which she read to me was so beautiful...my heart soared, while yet feeling deep sadness....it was a poem written on the day Shannon accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior...it was filled with such love and joy and excitement...such desire for Him....Debbie plans to have them either read at the funeral or printed in the memorial or maybe both...it brought Debbie also such comfort...to see in her daughters own words...her love for Christ....
The funeral is set for Wednesday at 1p at Potts Funeral Home...anyone wishing to send flowers can send them to Potts Funeral Home, 122 S Penn
Independence, Kansas 67301  I am sure the name of Stafford will get them to the right place...
Shannon's children are of course all in deep shock and grief....they are 15, 13, and 10...they are with their dad (Shannon was remarried)
The Son in Law is still in critical condition....not sure which way he will go yet...Debbie is so concerned when he learns of Shannon's death...that will take him down even further...so no one is going to say anything until he asks...and Debbie said...even if he does regain consciousness, there is not guarantee of what his thinking process will be like...he was so badly injured as well....
Debbie has received great comfort from all of her Internet friends....and she thanks everyone and says to tell you she loves you!!!
Also, to send a card to Debbie...send it to Debbie and Steve Stafford  3300 S  700 Road  Quapaw, Oklahoma 74363....she is still not taking phone calls as she has about 100 calls a day and  so many loose ends to tie up.....thanks for understanding....
Blessings to all,

Teresa

Thank You for your kind comment. My heart skipped a beat when I read about this beautiful young woman. It's so very, very, sad. I will say a prayer tonight for Shannon, her family and friends. Pam xx
