Hello everyone just a quicky to let you know im leaving AOL.as from next tuesday my new email address will be rocketman685434@virginmedia.co.uk

Im gunna miss you all on AOL but have been having problems logging on to AOL so thats why we are quiting.please feel free to drop me an email from tuesday onwards at the above email.have copyied my address book and printed it out but may have missed some people off as i had to rebuild the address book from scratch.thankyou for all the lovely journals that i have read over the years.keep up the good work.

Well Today the Social Worker,Occupational Therapist,and Doctor,and the Physio have been to see Trish today.She's told em she wants to go to the hospital out in Holmfirth cos its better for us all so they said as soon as a bed comes available thats it we is off.You could say her days in the HRI are numbered.Also they've moved her from bed 5 back to bed 11 which is where she was to start with.So its the waiting game now and as the social are involved they should work on gettin us a new pad.Am waiting for em to ring sometime and arrange a meeting between us all.

Physio has just been to trish and put her through her paces etc.he's really impressed with her progress.i feel it wont be long now as we are getting her transfered.im gunna stick my neck out that they shift her to holmfirth hospital cos its more convienient to me and has got some lovely gardens to sit in in this lovely weather and not only that but dad would be able to visit as he only lives 1.5 miles away.plus relaxed visiting hours and i could even wander on in to holmfirth and have some dinner and perhaps a pint.makes sense to me.sod the infirmary its just a concrete jungle there and far too busy with delivery vehicles etc buzzin about.just waitin for em to organise a meeting.

The physio cam while i was there and had Trish walking but she only managed a couple of yards before she had to sit down.After a few mins rest she got up and went another 3 yards or so then sat back down.The 2 guys from the physio then had to push her back to the bedside in the chair.I had a good chat to the guys and they basically told me that her leg would never heal up.It would always be a bad leg.So in short it means she is gunna be stuck with the wheelchair for reat od her life.And will need constant care.so it looks like my days as a worker are over.I mentioned about us living on the first floor and that we have to climb stairs to get in here.He said well she'd be housebound in this flat which aint good.i said well the social workers will have to find us a new home on the ground floor or a bungalow.they said that aint always that easy.Anyways they are gunna get the social services involved and also the occupational health.One thing they did say was that the hospital would not keep her there any longer than they have to cos of the risk of her contracting something nasty like a virus.there is always that risk in hospital these days.So just what happens next is anyones guess.I kinda expected it really.Anways the long and short of it is she will be disabled for rest of her life.

We have been told that i can take trish off the ward in a wheelchair on thursday/friday for a nice litte change of scenery for her.there cafes/restraunts in the hospital so should be nice.Lookin forward to it as well.

Hi All just a quicky to let you My wife was taken in hopsital last monday.she couldnt walk very well so the gp got her admitted.since then she has undergone lots of tests all have come back negative.just one more test to have tomoz and then maybe they mite move her to another hospital.They had her out of bed this morning for the first time since sunday 7th july.They took her to the shower and back to the bedside chair.if things keep improving they will let me take her out of the ward in a wheelchair.Anyways im coping ok here on my own.I go to visit her every day and we keep in touch with texts an fone calls cos they can use mobiles on that ward.I know you've all missed me doing Journal entries.Now you know what we been up to.
