Chuck of Dribble by Chuck Ferris has passed away. Please stop by his journal and leave a word of comfort to his family. Chuck, you will be sorely missed.

Please quickly visit Chuck of Dribble by Chuck Ferris. Many of you may not know, but Chuck has had cancer for awhile. He is just the type not to let everybody know, and make a big fuss over it. Anyway, he will go onto his reward soon. His daughter Kate asks us to offer him "comments letting him know how much you've enjoyed your relationship with him, and that it is okay to let go, and go on to the next life experience, whatever it may be." Chuck is fighting to stay alive because there are those in his assisted living home who want him to hold on so that they can give him a 4th of July party, and Chuck is conflicted on what to do. Please leave comments in Chuck's blog, as his daughter Kate will read all of them to him.

A very dear friend here in J-Land need our friendship and support. What has happened in her family is heartwrenching and tragic. Please visit her with prayers and encouragement to bring her strength during this time. Her children need healing after what happened to them. Thank you in advance for being the kind, loving supportive people I know you all to be. She's already been through so much and now this.

My friend, Shannon made an entry on June 10th asking for prayers because I was hospitalized unbeknowest to me until I read the comments in my journal. Thank you Shannon. I became very ill the weekend before last. Ended up in the my drs. office (she has a mini ER with 2 beds - urgent care) and was given 2 bags of IV fluids and meds cuz of dehydration because I couldn't keep anything down. Ended up in the ER late Monday night/Tuesday morning again. Was admitted for pneumonia, gasteroentiritis, possible gallbladder problems, dizziness and dehydration. I also had severe heartburn because of a hiatal hernia. Discharged Friday morning, my brother and his wife get into a serious car accident Friday afternoon after a woman rammed into them out of nowhere spinning both cars 3x and ending up in the ditch leaving my 17 yr. old nephew at home who calls me all upset and doesn't have a way to the hospital cuz his car is in the shop. They were making a left turn and traffic had yielded when the woman decided not to stop and wait and drove in the right lane hitting them while they were turning. They live 1.5 hrs. away. We have no idea which Brookwood hospital they're in (there are many) and called their cells leaving several messages for them to call back. All we could do was wait because they live in the big city with many hospitals. I couldn't ride that far anyway because I was still lightheaded. They have 20 witnesses and the woman got the ticket and she DIDN'T even get hurt. Brother & wife were taken away in ambulances. Their car is totaled. They just bought it 2 mos. ago. We called 3 Brookwood ER's and they said they had no one by the name of Cook. Come to find out, they were at one of the hospitals we called. Anyway after 5 hrs., my brother calls. He injured his shoulder and knee and is bruised from the seatbelt. His wife ended up with a sprained ankle, twisted back, whiplash and internal bruising and bruising from the seatbelt. She's in a soft cast. Saturday morning, I clean the garden tub then I get in it to shave my legs. I slipped and fell on my right knee breaking my big toe with my left knee hanging out of the tub hitting the faucet knob. Even after left knee surgery 11 mos. ago, I still have problems with it. Ended up going to the ER AGAIN for the 3rd time in a week after that. I get same nurse as before but different dr. Nurse says "you're back again?" When did you get discharged??? I tell nurse yesterday. LOL Both knees and legs are bruised and very swollen, I can hardly walk. The left one is the size of a football. I hurt my left knee that was hanging out worse than the right. I have appt. Thursday to see my foot dr. again to check my orthotics. I still have problems with my right foot and ankle from the 2 breaks/sprain 9 mos. ago. Wait til he hears about my tub accident. LOL It doesn't feel funny but I have to laugh because it was SO stupid. LOL I'm such a klutz! I've always been accident prone. I've had 13 broken bones (1 of them 4x.....another one 3.....the rest separate...lol). Then of course, family came over for Father's Day including Becca, a foster child we have taken under our wing She has hurt her foot also. What a scene.......brother, his wife, Becca and I are all hobbling around. ROFOLOL I might as well been with my brother and wife. LOL

Just want to thank you all who stopped by my journal and emailed me get well wishes and prayers. J-Land is a great place to be a part of. I figured it would be easier to make an update entry here. I know Sugar has sent people my way. If anyone else has sent others my way, please give them this update. Thank you again......
