I was pointed to a new journal today, written by a lady called Gerry. She is 75 years of age, and has plucked up the courage to write about her background and health problems. Her journal, Daughters of the Shadowmen, is not easy reading, but I feel that Gerry fully deserves J-land's support in the later stages of her life.

Zoe e-mailed me about your mention of my journal. I must say that many people have found my subject matter so disturbing, that I almost abandoned hope that I could ever get anything published at all. So I can hardly believe that my journal is now going out to far away places. This opportunity is not coming a moment too soon, as I figured I did not have a lot of time left, and if I could not somehow get my experiences out there they would never make it into print. My kids would not have the heart do it, so, instinctively, I went searching. Some of my kids do not read what I write because it upsets them. I understand that, and do not reproach them. Gerry

I'll go over and take a look. Thanks, Guido.
