7/7 Attack on London

Hi,

I thought you might be interested in watching the below programme tonight.  I haven't seen it yet but it will tell the story of 7th July with recounts from people involved and injured on the day.

Time - 21:00 - 22:30 (1 hour and 30 minutes long) When - Wednesday 14th September on five Documentary recounting the full story of how four young Muslims from Yorkshire became Britain's first suicide bombers when they detonated their rucksack bombs killing 52 people and injuring 700 others. This powerful film follows the journeys of the bombers as it intersected fatefully with innocent commuters and travellers crossing the capital on public transport. Survivors and relatives of those who died give moving first-hand accounts.

I watched it and it was an extremely moving programme...To hear the stories of some of the survivors was very moving, especially the man who was sat only 3 feet away from one of the bombers...How he managed to escape alive is miraculous...also hearing the man who's partner died and from yourself and others who jumped in and helped out on the day was moving too...am not ashamed to say i had a huge lump in my throat and wanted to cry

I watched the program last night....I was really upset on the day of the bombing as my sister was staying in Kings Cross at the time and it took a while to make sure she was ok (she was thank god) but watching this program made me realise just how horrible and devastating it all really was....

Hat off to you too mate...you really came through when all those people need you

    Best wishes, Amy
