I usually feel down this time of year.  You know it's after Christmas and the New Years celebrations are over...  Doesn't help it is another one of those grey days.  I don't seem to have anything to look forward to now that all that sparkle is gone.  Sometimes I think it is a crime to have to take down the fairy lights just when you need them the most! 

You might be thinking, "But wait, Valentines Day is just around the corner!"  But alas, the romance is faded as well, and only after 7-1/2 years of marriage...  Oh, He  did say for me to make a reservation somewhere , "Not too dear".  (Is that like McDonalds?  Or Pizza Hut?" )  And I suppose I should be grateful.  To be honest, I am, as he is willing to take me out and be seen with me.  But I really really want to feel like I am worth just a little bit of effort!!!!  After looking after him for so many years, I would like to be taken somewhere I did not have to make plans for and book myself.  Is that too much to ask???!!! 

Watch this space, I imagine I will end up with a takeaway in front of the telly with His best mate round.
