Made in Wales? Made me cringe!

So news reaches me that Ridiculous Rhydian has already made and released a record, 'Made In Wales', which he inflicted on the public last year. Listen to it here:

Yes, very nice, very patriotic and it's for charidee too. I can even imagine Rhydian singing a Cliff Richard-type feelgood Christmas number one (with a chorus of school children) but seriously, this man is not a pop star, which is what this competition is all about - finding The Next Big Thing.

Apparently, he was even been booted off Any Dream Will Do at the audition stages for not being good enough and blimey, if there's any place that would suit The Riddler down to the ground it's musical theatre. Know what I mean?

    I disagree Miranda,
Surely, you would know that people trying to carve a niche in show business will look into all channels.  You are even making fun of Rhydian  for donating to charity.
Lets face it.. he was the best  thing about the whole show this series.. People actually tuned in to watch him, people who had never watched the Xfactor before..I know this because I work with elderly people who I was trying to help vote for him ..
Yes, you are right that he didn't make it to the tv stages of Joseph, but apparently now, ALW is kicking himself, and don't forget Andrew LLoyd Webber arranged for him when he sang 'Phantom' on the Xfactor.

    One thing Miranda
Stop dissing people, and audition for the Xfactor yourself..

Lets have it right! all those finalists were pathetic compared to previous years and NONE! deserved to win it, think about it.... Will Young, Shane Ward, Leona Lewis we are talking real talent....these bunch are not fit to be mentioned in the same league as them. the X Factor is coming to an end and the words Barrel and Scrape come to mind.....in fact in 2008 who knows mybe even I will have a chance.

The wales man had  the best voice but  he was clasic, Leon used the cries to win.

Rhydian has a good voice no doubt, but in my opinion he does not have that "likeability" factor that Simon is allways going on about. He also looks rather strange with that albino type bleached hair ! Listening to them both whilst washing up, and not looking at either, I still preffered Leon's voice, and despite the fact that he DOES look like Pete Doherty, he is still far cuter than Rhydian. I could see Rhydian performing Phantom of the Opera, with a mask covering half his face. I am sure both of them will do well one way or another.

I am not usually one that get glued to the TV, however, this time I did, listening and making notes and hoping that the best should at least be given to all those watching the show.  What did we get, NOT EVEN THE SECOND BEST! but the one THEY feel must win.  GOD KNOWS WHY!  Rythian is Music, he is classic, trendy with a voice that sings, a complete gentleman and one I personally feel will have a wonderful career in music.

However, Leon is a young man who should go back to school urgently rather than looking for a quick fix in life - IT DOES NOT HAPPEN THROUGH FIXING! He will probably be forgotten this time next year - There has been many like him.
