You snooze, you loose

Thank heavens for web 2.0 and Wikipedia in particular. My television viewing gets very complicated on Thursday evenings and hadn't realised that the show would be split so, horror of horrors, missed the eviction extra show. What was more frustrating was that my DTV box was recording Men In Trees (don't ask) the delayed show, shame was that I'd been watching it live so I could flick past the ads. So, after all the long-winded explanation, I found out Katie had gone.

Not so shocking, well not shocking at all really. Too quiet, didn't do anything, not even bitching and scrapping. Which was surprising given her time and actions on The Apprentice. When she joined, I thought here we go, fireworks ahoy. However, it's been the wrinklies and she just faded into the background and out of the show.

I too expected Katie to be fireworks in the mix, from her time on the Apprentice, but being one of the youngsters, she was out of her depth with the ' wrinklies'
At least with keeping John in, the food how every much is won in the bushtucker trials, is cooked with his expertise. I agree with him about some of them saying they wouldn't eat the wild rabbit. He is practical, and can make a tasty meal out of meagre rations. HE UNDERSTANDS THE FOOD HAS TO BE what you would find in the jungle. Although he blows his top, I'd like to see him stay in.
I wasn't surprised that Katie got the least votes. She didn't made the impression on the team as I thought. But she's £50,000 richer for 11 days.
As for Mark beng the shock first eviction , I'm thinking the phone in was fixed to get him out as his partner had indicated that she wasn't going to be there for his exit, and so far, no one has been there for the family hugs etc at the end of the walkway. The exiting shown so far has been a bit of an anti climax. But its early days yet.
