    It really is very easy in CS3/Adobe Bridge, but can be done with Canon's converter as well, then imported into PS.  I had difficulties at first as well since my copy of CS3 didn't have the converter built in.  I had to download it from Adobe...your PS might have a similar download available for your camera.
