Oh my god!!! has it been that long???

Hi all

I can`t believe that is was June when I did my last entry! Tut tut! I have had a bit of an ear bashing for not keeping up to date with my blog, but hell... time doth pass so quickly! So much has happened over the months, we have been up to our eyes with the decorating, it started when the Teen and Mr Rugby left and will probably (hopefully) be finished by the time that they return on the 7th of Dec. They are having a great time and as it is Spring in Oz the Teen is finding it hard to cope with the heat!lol... so lucky considering that our sunny days are few and far between. I`m busy at the moment with 3 other ladies organising the Pink Party event that we hold every year. We are having a Pinktastic Moonwalk Disco`Karaoke, you can decorate your bra or wear something PINK on the night. The main objective is to raise lot`s of money for Breast Cancer. I`m still working away at the Hospice and really enjoying it. Work is work..... same shit, different location what can I say??? They say that people come in and out of your life for a reason, well in recent times I`ve had those who`ve left and those who have come in, I`ve learned that those who leave are meant to and there is nothing that you can do to stop the reason behind why they have gone, and that`s okay, at the end of the day I`m still breathing and accept the situation. For those who have come into my life over the months then I`m grateful to have them for all the right reasons. My motto is we may not always be in happy in what we have in this life, but we might as well dance while we are here.

That`s me agian for the minute, hopefully it wont be long before I write again. Till next time take care all.

Reasons to be cheerful!!!

Hi all

Well I came back to update so I must be on the mend from my writers block, I`ve had the week in bed with the flu, not good!!! felt as if ET and friends had taken over my body!! only just got my legs back hopefully thats it on it road back to hell and I`m on the road to feeling better. Well the Teen and Mr Rugby left for Australia in April, they have a one bedroomed shack as she calls it in Fingal Bay, near Nelson Bay in Sidney. They have both found jobs and Mr Rugby is doing what he loves best playing rugby for the Fingal Bay team. They are having a great experience and are due home on the 19th Dec, so Christmas in both houses should be fun this year. We speak on the telephone as often as possible and when Hairy gets up to go to his job at 3am I`m awake and find that this is a great opportunity for a chat lol!!!! The house is tidy, the fridge is full and I`m still moaning he he, when they come back and it all goes to pot........I will love it! I`ve got a voluntary job at the local hospice, I really enjoy going and meeting all the new people, it`s a lovely place and a sad one at times too. The job is much the same and it`s been a year and two months since I moved there....how time flies. We are planning a Pink Moonwalk Party this year to raise money for the Breast Cancer Charity so fingers crossed that it is as sucessful as last years. The response to that was excellent and we can`t thank eveyone who helped us raise all that money enough!! I`m off to catch up on my programme on TV so until next time take care all.

It`s been a long time!

Hi all

Don`t even know if anyone will read this as it`s been a long time since I wrote anything here!!! Guess I`ve put up the wee woman spring cleaning as this is probably what I have been doing since my last entry....spring cleaning my head, if that is even possible! Lot`s have happend since I last wrote here and I think I had a lot to sort out, my relationship with my younger sister has finally come to an end and from where I now currently sit it will not be resolved, emotionally it gets to the stage where it drains how you are as a person and you just have to put a full stop to it and move on. Other things too........ but I might write about them another time. The Teen and Mr Rugby have moved to Australia till the 10th of Dec and to say that I miss them is an understatement! I am more than looking forward to them coming home. The experience that they are having I would never deny them but for everyone that they have left behind there is a huge void that only they can fill and we are all looking forward to having them back in our fold again! The fridge will be empty and the house untidy but hell it can be filled and put right lol! I have been on a diet and lost 11Ib in weight which I am loving! more to go as the bikini is calling me for my summer hols and I can wait to be on the beach with no wobbly bits he he!

Well this is short and sweet as I just wanted to put a wee quick note in this journal, my hubby will be glad that I have finally updated this as he has nagged me for months to get typing, so until next time take care all.

Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry and spend a few precious moments with her children.

Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.

Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day (who really ought to get a job!)

is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.
Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go

shopping together .

Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but t o all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, show patience, empathy and love.

Saturday 29th December - It`s been awhile

Hi Everyone.....

Hav`nt written here in ages, how time fly`s lol! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to a good New Year. I`m wishing for all of you that this year brings you good health, happiness and a few other things that each of you might be wishing for. Christmas was quiet and the Teen and Mr Rugby treated me to a new mobile phone and a GOAT! Yes I did say a GOAT.....I like to know that someone else will be getting something for Christmas and as part of mine the Teen and Mr Rugby paid for an African family to have a GOAT that will supply them with milk, this has to be my top present that I received this Christmas! Hairy bought me a pair of White Gold diamond earring as well as all the other little things that he treated me to so I can safely sy that I have had a lovely time. The anticipation of Christmas coming and the excitment that I felt has never really grown up, I still love the Christmas Eve and the new PJ`s to wear for Santa coming lol, maybe the child within us never really grows up. I`m off for a total of two weeks in the holidays and I still can`t quite believe it, I`ve never had so much time off having worked in retail all this time, so it`s bliss. Instead of waiting till the nNew Yaer to make my resolution I`m doing it now while I feel motivated, I`ve made up Linda`s FAT busting tracker........no weighing, just measurements and a pair of trousers that I can`t get into. This way I will be more motivated by the inch losses and the trousers that don`t quite fit! They are only one size smaller than I currently am, no use trying to achieve 3 sizes smaller just now and by going down a size at a time it`s another way of keeping motivated, don`t set your goal too high, little ones are more achievable! The Teen and Mr Rugby are getting themselves organised for going to Austrialia, getting their visas organised and all the other bits like having enough money in their bank accounts back home so that they have money when they come back. They are working all the hours they are able to so that they have the money side of things all organised and doing a great job of it too.(leaving time for fun as well...all work and no play, not good for them ethier) I am hitting the sales today just to get out of the house as I now have cabin fever as Hairy has had to work and had the car! Leaving it till now will hopefully mean the rush is over and I won`t get trampled lol. I`m meeting my cousins that found me through my journal next Friday, it seems mad that we have never met and I`m really looking forward to it, we are having a meal in a little Italian so it should be fun I`ll keep you posted. Well that`s me all cought up and I hope it won`t be long before I come back to write, on a final note my thoughts go out to Lahoma and Kim`s family I hope that they are coping with the loss of these great ladies who will be truly missed by everyone. Hi Everyone

Well I`ve lasped again haven`t I?? I`ts cold outside and you just want to come home and snuggle your bits as far up the fire as you can stand the heat don`t you? I know that I do lol! I`ve found some more relations or should I say that they found me! Thanks to my cousin Caroline that e mailed me after reading my other journal she has introduced me to some more additions to my ever growing family ...I love it! Just having trouble keeping up with who`s who he he! I`m off to the hospital again tomorrow to get some more lumps syringed.....lovely! Will keep you posted, they will just be like last times FULL!! Getting organised for Santa and getting the pressies bought and wrapped, the orgasim of my Christmas this year?? The fact that I will finish work on the 21st of December and not return to work till January!! WHOPPEE! Never have I been off that long ever in all the time that I worked in retail so I am ORGASMIC at the thought....bring it on I just can`t wait! Well I`m short n sweet tonight so until next time take care all.

Tuesday 20th November - A few things I`ve learned.

Hi Everyone

As I was driving to work the other day I had a thought.......wait for it ....it`s a good one, I thought if I had to list 5 things that I had learned in reaching the grand old age of 47 what would it be??? well here is my 5 things:

No 1:I`ve learned that I`m no longer willing to attempt to cover up my bum with the excuses that they have for pants these days for one: my bums a lot bigger than it used to be and two: I don`t have the energy or the breath left in me to squeeze myself into them so I`m resorting to these......

No 2: Hairy and I aren`t the same shape as we used to be....."Was".................."Now" but hell who cares as long as we`re happy!

No 3: On occassions you might need a hard hat to be around me as ....at least I give notice and you never know hard hats might come into fashion!

No 4: Families are like FUDGE, mostly sweet and a few NUTS into the bargain!

No 5: No matter what life throws at you, Look inside yourself and you`ll find the strength to keep going.
