I'm part way through my training to becoming an Architect. At present it will take me 9 years to fully qualify and begin working as a professional. So why do it?

Since a young age I was brought up watching home DIY programmes where people decorated their homes or built their own homes. Since that I have developed and interest in Architecture. I want the be able to put other peoples ideas down on paper and then turn their dreams into reality. I also feel that Arhcitects, together with car/aeroplane developers are in the prime position to do something about the rapid destruction of out planet and its resources.

If you think about it our lives boil down to travelling to work and going on holiday. What are the three comon things that you find here? Buildings to live, work and play in and a mean of trnasport either bus, car or plane. These are the three biggest things, I fell, that can help contribute to lowering harmfull emissions and the use of our depleting resources.
