Meet Mad Magyar

Last night I went to a Basketball game with Murat and his friends, their local team, Fenerbahce, were taking on Ankara's Telecom side for the Turkish title playoffs, first to 4 wins. Fenerbahce won their first home game on Saturday, and won again in Istanbul last night. It was a good evening, my first ever basketball game!

Tomorrow it's a day trip to Ankara, so it will be a LONG day! I'm settling in for the evening now, with a glass of Villa Doluca "Klasik" 2006, a blend of Okuzgozu, Alicante and Carignan. It has a plum, pepper and vanilla nose and drinks really easily, with a nice fruity finish. So far it's the first wine I've had this week, although I did buy a couple of bottles for the trip home.
