Hi All

sorry not been in touch..remember 5/6 weeks ago I had sore throat,and cough it seems I've been left with a viral  infection which has left me feeling bloody awfull Haven't been able to sit atPC couldn't see properly or coordinate brain and hands ..scary or what,ended up in hospital last week with  blood pressure of 226 over 111 is what my daughter said . kept me in with tablets  till it went down. Will not bore you with the rest now waiting blood tests .I,m not a sickly person I'm a get on with it get over it ..is my normak reaction but so far I can't do that.Got new glasses to see if its my eyes but that hasn't helped.

My grandson has been excepted into the athletics club.His couch is in Bejin for then olympics. when he comes back next week it is down to serious training.He will find it hard to start .. as he starts football trainng 2/3 week .running3 times aweek so he has only one day to hisself

My granddaughter starts rehersals for a show at the shaftsbury theatre,London

I'm closing now as my eyes are hurting.

Hi all,

Yep I'm still chillin with my music. Heard on radio, Cat Stevens has re released Tea for the Tillerman, Have about 8/10 albums of his.  Just dug tiller man out.Now to see if I still like him?Shame I have so much music and don't listen to it enough. I am toying with the idea of buying one of those record machines,that transfers vinyl to CD's via the computer.LOL.. haven't used my printer yet.

Well,  what a lovely few days I had with my Aussie cousins. Thursday they arrived. That evening my brother and sister-in-law came over,and a few bottles were opened...say no more. They were to leave on Friday morning, but persuaded them to stay another night. So Friday night we went out for a lovely meal,Altho the resturant was busy,we got there for 8pm left at 11-30pm.had great meal,more and more wine ,plenty of chat. A very very happy time..The rest of the family came around for a short while, Saturday morning, To say hello and goodbye.The left me at about 2pm as they had to get to his sisters for the rest of the trip.They should be up and away ,high in the sky now as they were flying out at 11am this morning.

Oh yes,saturday evening went out with brother and his wife.date made a few weeks ago.  had another night on the town.  Felt wrecked on Sunday.not used to drinking night after night.Still promised to not drink till next saturday

Best news of all my Grandson started his athletic trials last night,  3 weeks to prove his worth.They made him do 100m.400m 500m. the first 500m he left the others standing.SO they put him at the back when the next 500m's started.He left the others standing,he went like the wind,The same with the next 500m's..Trouble was when the session finished he was as sick as anything,brought up everything he ate that day. The couch said he had eaten too heavy a meal, and left  eaten to close to the training session..He was also completely spent.so his dad has been on the web to Kelly Holmes site,to check what to eat and when, while he is training..It was great watching him last night

The house is now very quite I'm on my own.  Haven't had the children for the last week as daughter has had a weeks holiday offwork  We are back to normal from Thursday.Which is great.Right must have bored the pants off you [RElatively speaking]...yes Mort am waiting for your email.So I'll close.

Hi All.

Yes I.m enjoying reliving my music,Although some leave a lot to be desired..Lord I'm showing my age..Well I've been trying to Email some of you,but I'm stuck . window pops up. Re errors the host pop3 could not be found and, I lose whatever I've written??.Makes me want to scream.

Great news my cousin phoned this morning ,she Has arrived in England from Austrailia.and they are coming to stay with  me  this Friday/Saturday. The trip is singed with sadness they are over for a funeral..(don't know whose)But it will be great to see her,it's been about 2/3yrs since she came to stay with me,for 5 weeks.This time flying visit,they are trying to fit everybody in to such a short trip.

So must make eyerything spic and span and do some baking.and buy a few bottles wine to see us through the weekend. Also other members of my family  will be decending to my place to see them

Hi,All

Being going thu my record albums all in pristene condition,never  lent them out..Looking back,I never relized I was into rock that much, but looking at how much rock music I have, I must have been a rock chic.,I have hundreds of albums.So now I'm going to go throu gh the lot over the next few weeks as I haven't played any records for ages..smokie,The band,Queen.Camel  Genis, ELO..the list goes on..

Right back to the water rates.Meter is installed ,new bill arrived in post.Quite pleased about that.knocked £14.00 of my bill a month.wish I'd done it years ago just never go around to it,always tomorrow.

Got my daughter to get in touch with the athletic club again. (thinking I was boosting my Grandson up to being better than what he was,I looked up on the internet,to see how his timing was, and he was up  there with the best of them.  one race,  if he'd run, it he would have come first )  she phoned and gave his time for the district sports and what his teacher said,so they said was fast time.and they are going to give him 3weeks trial..Hopefully they will keep thier word and fit him in.I know he will give his all..as football ,finishes altheletic begin.so no conflict.

Went out Saturday night,seems ages since I had drink..enjoyed it. Sunday my daughters birthday ,family meal.My meal was delivered with a hair.and burnt lamb.ofcourse it was returned to kitchen,new meal delivered.everybody elses meal was not up to par which was a shame as when you go out for a meal one expect to enjoy.Anyway the birthday cack I brought was very nice..Didn't pay for the meal..

Hi all.

Just had a water meter put in reason being,I'm paying the same as my daughter with a family of 5 .where as my other daughter who lives on her own pays much less 'cos she has had a meter put in. I've always been carfull not to waste water BUT I never re relized how many times a day I wash my hands,it's a wonder they haven't disappeared. Funny everytime I turn the tap I'm now thinking, wow your spending money. I'm not a skinflint,but this is paranoia . Imagine when I have a shower how I feel, Ha ha. Weighing it all up,I should save about £15/£20 a month..which isn't bad .

Yesterday I bought a scanner,photo copier all in one ..Laughed when I got home,Thiers me struggling to find my way around my computer.Lets see how I get on with this gadget...Well off I go to do some washing..I'll be crying by the time the cycle has finnished.

Hi all

I,m so angry. Last week received statement from my bank.don't normallycheck to closely as I keep tabs on my out going and incomings..But an amount and where my card was used,stood out,never make card purchases from this perticular out let..But do use hole in the wall!. Phoned bank to report my findings. Fraud are now looking into my account..My card was cancelled.and I'm waiting for a new one..so far just inconvenient..I don't know if more money has been taken from my account???

can you believe it today my son-in-law went to th supermarket to get the weekly shopping as my daughter was at work..His card was declined.he was so embarrassed..Got home phoned bank...fraud squad spoke to him .They cancelled his card.reason being..His card was used outside thier normal pattern.Some one??was using his card a couple of times, in the early hours on Thursday 4am , when they ere all tucked up fast asleep in bed...They are now waiting for a letter to see what has gone on.

I get so mad to think some low life is using the money that was hard earnt....and how they can get thier hand on money so easy..I.m sure if the law  was to (show me which hand did the theiving,and cut it off maybe they would think again about reaffending..NO NO I'm joking in the worst possible way.But it makes you think1

Actually I came on line to book a flight to Ireland to see my stepdad..as they have a sale on at the moment.which finishes on Sunday..CAN'T  book as card has been cancelled,my daughters card has been cancelled,and NO1 daughter is in Turkey, so she can't help,and use her card to book my flight.Still what the hell its only money....Boo Ho

Out of curiousity went on line to see if I was boosting my grandson to be my super hero?checked Essex Indoor Championship Jan 2008

Time for the under 15yr..in 1st place, time was 2m17.98sec in the 800m.I'm sure if  my grandson  was trained he would be much faster.. His time was 2m 19s..He only runs once a year for the school in the district sports..He is an all rounder..

Anyhow have tried to E mail a few of you but seem to have my Emails chucked back at me..But will not give up..evan had my granddaughter around today..to try but to no avail

All panic over.My daughters friend is well on the road to recovery. The treatment is working well although is still in pain,but getting there.They didn't have to operate.it seems she is responding well to what ever they are doing to her..My daughter said they are coating the burn with some thing that looks like silver,also the dressings look like plastic? but all in all she has been a very lucky person,and she shouldn't be scarred, which is great.Up to last weekend ,she still wasn't herself..But she is hoping to still go on holiday, this coming friday.  The usual crowd including my daughter,are off to Turkey for 10 days,so she has many to look after her and keep her safe.

On a lighter note,(Proud nan act again)..Last wednesday was District sports,Still wasn'tFeeling tiptop,so couldn't shout my head off as my voice was still coming and going..My grandson intered the 800 race..From the start he was out in front.and the gap got bigger all the way round the course.he left everybody standing..His time was 2mins-19sec..He broke the school record, which was held for 20years at 2min-20secs....A teacher said he couldn't understand why he wasn't in Athletic club..The answer to that is, when he applied to join one, he was told there was a 2 year wainting list..So he just put more into his football team..I thought  they were crying out for kids for the 2012 venue

I don't know if his time was really good, but all seemed pleased with the results...Maybe he would have been faster if he had, had training and somebody had been breathing down his neck.instead of being easy for him..I'm not taking anything away from him,because he ran a good race

Right I'm off to do some ironing.One job I hate.

One moment all is quite, everybody enjoying thierselves..Then BOOM all goes wrong..

As I said the other day my No1 daughter went to a BQ yesterday afternoon ,With her friends there's a group 8/10 of then ,who allways go out together.celebrations, holidays,Weekends away.The BQ I think as for one of thier birthdays.All was going well till 10pm.The garden was full of those candles for keeping those midges at bay.. My daughters best friend had her back to one of those lights.when her top caught fire.an A line top in flimsy material.In the blink o f an eye the top went up in flames also her hair.Two of the blokes quickly put out the flames and somebody wrapped her in cling film..Took her to our local hospital.Where they promptly transfered her to the burns unit in Brentwood..She has 2nd degree burns on her back...The doctor asked her if she would like to try out a new treatment.which is  being tried out at the hospital..The results have been good,So she said yes.....She was in shock but felt no pain?..My daughter stayed with her all night and didn't get home till 5am..

Just had an Email from my daughter,her friend is having an operation in the morning...PG.she will be fine... The hospital said The first aid was correct and because of that there should be damage limitation.

Shame the whole group were going to a Caister weekend. this coming weekend(soul music)..when ever there is a venue on ,they all go away for the weekend.about 4 times a yearThen the following week they are of to Turkey for 10days..But we will see if her friend is up to it.

Life can be so scarey sometimes ..Seems at the moment I'm all doom and gloom ..No not really as I received a letter from the hospital yeaterday regarding my managram..all is fine all is OK.so I've something to smile about..Well thats all for now.

Morning all

How things change..When my daughters left there junior school,  leaving school was celebrated, by not wearing school uniform,but by wearing  your best clothes.Bring into school,cakes and goodies.bottles of coke /lemonade..All school leavers.Had thier food,and a dance in the school hall..Enjoyed by one and all.Come to think of it , it was the same when I left school.

I was suprised when my granddaughter came home with a letter,stating,School leaving celebrations ,are an evening going to a restaurant,three course meal.and watching a tribute band.price £20 . Ok, I know £20 isn't much for an evenings entertainment ..But I know  people who can't afford something like that.

So some body goes without or the child is left out.......

My daughter was around last night. She said the Neil Diamond show was brilliant

So we just spent the evening talking,and I forgot to ask her to show me some bits on the PC...she's around Saturday,but she will not have time to stay long,as she has a BQ.to go to in the afternoon and a party to go to in the evening..So she's at hairdressers,  and such things most of the morning..

You know we never seem to see baby pidgeon or magpys.Was out the front the other day heard a noise looked up to the roof,and saw a magpy being fed by its parent..and realize the baby magpy wasn't that much smaller than the adult..So it must be the same with pidgeons,the grow very fast..and nearly fully grown by the time they leave the nest..Oh well must go and have lunch.looks like rain.hope it holds off till after I pick up grandchildren

Been trying to connect with quite a few  who have commented on my blogg.but to no avail..I really want to connect ..will have to grab my daughter when she's around for dinner tomorrow..get her to sort me or the computer out..Jan,Mort are just a few..strange Jan has appeared on my buddie list tried to connect with her aswell..and beckie..

I really was quite intelligent and could grasp all I was taught..I thought all my faculties,were returning to me..BUT the computer.is showing that,all is not quite where I thought I was...seven years ago I had a brain anurism.Icouldn't talk for awhile ,my brain knew what it wanted to say,but the connection didn't get to my mouth..friends say I've more than made up for that quite period..lol..reading was also a problem,I used to be a book worm.when I had time..It took me about three years to teach myself to read again...I haven't read many books all the way through yet..but getting there..So I am really  trying to connect with you lot out there..Its so flustrating...Anyhow to people who don't know me.I am as normal as normal is.except if they try to teach me something new.....It takes a while to seep through.I bluff my way around with a nod and a grunt..get home and it is all lost..so bare with me ,till all is clear to me,(hopefully),and manybe I'll be able to connect..

Oh dear it sounds as though I'm a sad case,with this and that, what has happened to me over the years..It's nowt..as I'm fine really just not 100% YET...the nicest thing is friends and family think I'm a much nicer person now..although I was alright before..just much more calm and tolerant..and most of all a happy person

Enough is enough.it is amazing how one can open up to a computer and keep things closd to humans...
