Sharing some laughter with you...
Morning!
I got the following link from my friend Sal
I just had to share it as the laughter is infectious and God knows we all need a good laugh these days.
Click on the link and enjoy yourself.
I shall place it in my sidebar near the top if anyone wants to come back to be cheered up again in the future. It will save you foraging about through my entries.
The bread machine is proving to be fun.
Bryan made himself half a loaf (?) yesterday to try it out whilst I was down here in the cellar on my mainframe computer. It looked like it had been to hell and back again.
"It's going to take five hours" he said when I emerged for a cuppa.
It looked like it had made the effort to rise...but then changed its mind and went for a sleep, not a rest. Five hours! Sheesh!
I said to him "Never mind we could use it on our Rockery". hahahaha!
He tried again with a full packet of bread mix and this time he proudly yummed and mmmmm'd as he ate it with his tea.
He did sit awhile afterwards so it might have weighed on him a bit like a lead weight. hehehehe!
Seriously, this bread machine is a great toy for us both and has us competing to see who makes the best loaf. Its just like adding the wash to the washing machine and turning the dial it's so simple.
You should hear this man boasting of how he made 'The' perfect loaf.
HE made a perfect loaf? What?
Just wait and see what my tap on the machine's head can produce this weekend. Lol!
I wish I had taken a photo of yesterdays attempt...but the birds are busy using our drive as a runway to take off from after eating it. hehehehe!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend. It's raining so heavily here I am thankful it's not snow.
Take care!
God Bless.

Years ago, I thought I would save money by baking our bread instead of buying it. It took an entire day to produce a week's worth of bread. If I didn't get it into the freezer before Lloyd got home, he would eat a whole loaf at one go--with butter and honey! Then he would complain that I was making him fat!
As I would have to buy bread to replace what he had eaten, the economy angle disappeared. Plus, as this was before the fancy machines were invented, I was out a whole day as well. He's lucky to get bread at all, these days. lol

Thanks for stopping by my journal. I tried to make bread once....once. It was not my forte. I just can't seem to get it to the oven without having it fall, so it's back to Merita bread for me.
