Feeling Anxious
Hearing Peace, perfect peace lol
OMG!
Well that’s that over and done with for another year lol
As you may remember our eldest son has been living in Scotland for the past 18 months, with his grandparents, he went up there to sort his life out as he was being sucked into a very bad one here in the south.
Seven months ago he told me that he had a girlfriend, her name was Emma, they came down in October and I must admit I was surprised because although she was a nice person she wasn’t Danny’s type, she was quite bossy and his g-parents found her very rude, then about a month ago he said that he was thinking of finishing with her as he had met someone else, a mutual friend of a friend sort of thing, after a week or so of dithering he eventually told Emma bye bye, this was two weeks before Christmas, bless him, and that’s when he bought his new girlfriend into the limelight, enter Natasha, he introduced her to the g- parents, who think she is lovely, g-dad loves her Scottish accent lol.
Then he confesses to me that Tasha has a six month old baby boy, ok, well these things happen, anyway things have been going swimmingly for them for the last month, and then Danny phones me last week to tell me that he thinks that his brand new girl friend may be pregnant!, she has taken two tests that seem to confirm it, but has yet to go to the doctors, cue some very intense conversations online and over the phone, the upshot is that he has never felt this way about anyone and has decided to propose on her birthday at the end of this month, soooo like his dad, it’s almost a replay of Paul and I getting together lol
How do I feel about all of this, surprised and a little bit helpless, they are so far away, the thought of having a son and grandchild that far away is hard to deal with, I like being a hands on nan, of course the other thing is her baby will only be 13 months old when this one is born, that’s going to be hard, especially as Tasha is training to be a nurse as well, god, kids, who’d have them lol.
Sit back and see how things play out I suppose
Am getting excited now, we go on holiday five weeks today, we have to go to the quacks tomorrow for anti malaria jabs and a few others as well, not looking forward to that.
Hope you are all well and that you’ve had a nice start to the New Year
