Vauxhall SAVE OUR POST OFFICE Campaign

Further to our email of 28th February, I apologise for my error in naming the venue for our public meeting on Wednesday, 12th March. It is actually called The Spring, Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre. At least the address was correct. Corrected details below.

Please also see below photos taken last weekend of the queues that not only filled the inside of the post office on Kennington Road but spilled out onto the pavement! That's before the threatened closure of our Vauxhall PO!

We have sent in our own letter opposing closure, and hope you will also take the trouble to write. The email address is consultation@postoffice.co.uk.

We have set up an online petition site and will be in touch again when that goes live; however, there will be many people not on email who will want to sign. If you are holding a gathering over the next couple of weeks and would like to collect signatures, we have drafted up aLambeth Walk PO Petition.doc that can be downloaded and printed out.
