Travels With The Corrds

The great thing about local gigs is that you don't have to start out for work at mid-day with the knowledge that you won't be home until the early hours of the next morning, in fact you don't have to start out at mid-day at all. Dave and Derek made their way up to Chicago Rock early on to set up the gear and came back home for a bit of a relax and some grub before starting back out again, but this time with myself, Sadie and Andy in tow. I would have felt like I was missing out on the favoured Louisiana chicken wings, but Derek and Dave came back bearing the devastating news that they're currently off the menu... I'm ok... honest.... just shaking a little bit and wondering if there's such a thing as a Louisiana Chicken Wing Dealer who I could contact for my fix.....

Andrea was already at the gig when we arrived, so once we'd all regrouped and finished muckin about with hair and make-up, etc. it was time to go onstage. Had another good night here, nice staff, and some funny characters in the audience, too. Andy was on hand to take a lot of pics and short video clips of the show, too - so if I manage to get my hands on those I'll be sure to update here as soon as I do.

After the set we suck around for a while, had a few drinks and attacked each other with digital cameras. Then some of us went home and some of us stayed up well into the wee small hours with a whole lot of vodka and alcopops. You know how it is...
