A great idea for Colchester and it would be inaudible if close to the A12. There is a lot of misinformation about these turbines. They are very quiet. But what would be a real step in the right direction would be to go that step further and generate hydrogen from it by electrolysis. The hydrogen can be stored to run a generator all the year round, whether the wind is blowing or not. Absolutely pollution free! The problem with these turbines is that when there is no wind there is no electricity. Come on Colchester, lead the way and do the job properly - the green way.
