Menin Gate. Ypres. Wipers. Kevins Photographs.

These are the photos that Kevin took on our 21st April flight to Ypres. We did not fly above 1500 feet at Ypres due to Belgian airspace restrictions which turned out to our very great advantage as you can see from the quality of Kevins photographs. Reminds me what a very beautiful day it was.

It's a nice place to visit. so much history that it is imposible to equate the horrors with the plesentness of the place now - yet it is he same place.

Great photos.  Have you now actually moved off AOL?  As for "Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", I hated it too when I first saw it, but it has grown on me over the years and I actually quite like it now.  Funny how one's tastes can change.

Hi Malcomb, I enjoyed the shots and the demo of close up lense technology? Particularly down by the Menin Gate, counting the bricks! I reckon quite a few people will appreciate the excursion here with Kevin's photo's. Very good, just a few blurs from canopy, which is understandable. It would have been good to have a small explanation on each shot? I think I recognised most of them though? The fueling shots clearly show that I will never get in the cockpit, so that is out for a start! You lucky people, keep up the good work and good luck all round.

    Kindest regards,

    Eddy.
