Dartmouth AFC

We had a good crowd at yesterday's game but no-one was certain of the the meaning of the old club motto. The search continues and one suggestion is that probeerus cheerus clementus is a cryptic anagram for "three sour pubescent lemurs"

Another is that it represents an ancient Dartmouth dialect and means "the chairman is a wanker" (the old Dartmouth Utd chairman not the present one)

Apparently Fritz Prettyjohns or Brian Riddels may know the correct annswer
