Go to Hell AOL
I am fed up with them constantly updating, changing and just generally messing about with it.
The advertisements at the top of my journal, on all my emails, on everything is pissing me off.
Sometimes I struggle to get online, sometimes it crashes me off.
I've lost all my emails in the past and had my favourite sites wiped clean more than once.
I'm fed up of not being able to access my own journal, fed up of being kicked out of my journal when halfway through an entry and just generally fed up of the overpriced poor service which I pay for.
Its a pain in the arse and I have had enough.
I've had enough I tell you!
Enough!!
So I am canceling my subscription at the end of the March. I will be on AOL no more.
I am switching to Virgin Media.
I will have a broadband Internet connection for the first time in my life. I will be able to download music, surf the net without waiting ages for pages to load, and do loads of fun stuff.
I cant wait.
I will be connected next Friday.
I am excited.
I will be using my new super fast PC that I bought last year. It has its own desk too!
Look, this is where I will be sitting.
No more sitting on the sofa with my laptop. My poor knees cant take it anymore anyway.
At the moment whenever I am online I can only use my laptop, which is so slow. I timed it this morning. It took 4minutes 33 seconds from the time I pressed the on button to the time I could actually use it. Its tired. The battery only lasts about 15 minutes. Its old. Maybe its dying.
:o(
Anyway....I will be having digital TV installed at the same time as my broadband too.
Rock on!
I cant wait for next Friday.

Well Chris, I'm glad you'll be discovering the convenience of broadband, which if you had it earlier would've eliminated most of your problems - as I found out first hand. High-speed connection, it makes a diff. It's not your new PC that's super-fast it's the opsys you use (Windows is crap but can work) You should've been sitting at a PC and comp table all this time anyway, laptops are for travel. I wish you good fortune up and downloading, which, with broadband, you could've been doing all this time. DTV that's great - the law as of 2009. Yeesh. CATHY

I have been tempted to leave AOL soooo many times for almost exactly the same reasons as you but i think even with all its problems AOL is still pretty user friendly.
Besides....if i left where would everyone find me???
Keep in touch!
