bob and kate you are doing a very good job of bringing bloggers together .  I am new to all of this and only started my blog on a friends suggestion knowing
nothing atall about what i was getting into or how to go about it.

I did not know when i started how competitive it all is not that i mind if i know what i am doing trouble is im fumbling in the dark a lot of the time.  I am quite new to the computor any way self taught and have sons and daughters probably older than you.  And i think of bloggers as all being young people with lots of  computor experience.

I put some good wartime stories in my blog before and deleted them when i got no traffic to them, apparantly nobody could reach the site and i dumbo didnt know why.  i still have trouble linking my pages.

It is addictive i enjoyed it so much i started another blog, this time my poetry ,only dispite all my effort i came up against the same problems.  http://hometown.ao.co.uk/gentine123/homepage/poetryhtml        from Gentine
