Hello Peeps. Hope you are all well and have been enjoying the little bit of sunshine we have had the past few days!!

I am feeling a bit silly at the moment as we have had 3 incredibly stressed days to the point where we thought things would not improve….but this morning – well lunchtime to be exact – things suddenly went from horrible, manky pear shaped to nice squidgy choccy cake shaped!! I am an extremely, well almost extremely, happy bunny right now..…. There is still the subject of Sammy’s ashes to be rectified but after what we have been through the past few days I can cope with that and I have had a lovely email from Susie (Susanbunn) that has made me feel quite peaceful with regard to the Sammy issue….thank you Susie. Yes I feel quite content at the moment.

Work is proving very taxing, more mentally than physically due to the nature of it!! The work is interesting, the majority of people are okay but as I have said before there are a couple of people that work here that are not so nice. The work itself is to do with Mental Health Assessment, which is quite traumatic at times as a lot of issues are to do with suicidal thoughts etc., and when you have to type the notes out after the CPN’s (Community Psychiatric Nurses) have done their assessments it can get to you at times!!! Also there have been a couple of occasions when I have had to hand the notes over to someone else, as I know the people (not closely) that the assessment refers to. Life does get tricky at work sometimes.

Sascha is growing well, she is a little terror and into everything!! Yesterday she helped herself (whilst Rob’s back was turned and I was at work) to a piece of artificial coal off our gas fire (it was not on I hasten to add!!) and promptly tried to destroy it on her lovely white sheepswool bedding,…..fortunately Rob caught her before she could eat it but the black stuff was everywhere!!! Puppies, don’t ya just love ‘em????!!!

My laptop is repaired, thanks to Kevin, however he had to totally clear it and re-install my photos’s and I had to re-install all my new broadband (panic stations came when I could not find the keyword for installation….found it had fallen down the back of the sofa!!!) equipment and re-download all my games from the internet…..fortunately most of my games are kept in a Big Fish Games account so I did not have any problem accessing them again, apart from one which was from another company and I have lost the ref number for it……it would have to be Rob’s favourite game as well so he is not happy that he cannot play his mahjongg game!!

Anyway it is getting late so it is time to upload to the journal.......and hopefully get all my graphics put on with no problems, lol!!!  I did the text towards the end of the shift I did on reception this afternoon when it was very quiet!!!! TTFN & loads of love to you all.......

Like Marie with Jess, our Sally came to us as 'more than a pup' - about a year or so old.  Somebody had at least taught her a few manners, like not to wee in the house or chew things up.  For the first couple of weeks our relationship was far from easy as she was very wary of us but as soon as she told me - in her own way - that her name was Sally and not Pippa (which we had named her) things were on the up and we've never looked back.  Which isn't to say she can't be a right little madam at times! Even after all these years though, other dogs we've had who have died are as real in memory to us as they ever were, Our happy little ghosts!.  Have a good weekend,
    love, Angie, xx
