Hiya, hope you are all well.
We have still not had Sam’s ashes but we have something else instead to help ease things.May I introduce Sacha (pronounced Sasha) , she is a border collie x German shepherd but is the smallest of the litter. She was born on 1st of Feb so she is currently about 8 weeks old. She is a real bundle of energy but a very welcome addition to the family. She is travelling in the car well and last night (her first night) was good, no crying and she went to sleep for most of the night. With a brief toilet break at around 3 am….she went straight back to sleep which was good. Rob was unsure and very reluctant to go and get another pup but now he is glad we did as they are virtually inseparable already!!!!
Work has been crazy this week, we are so short staffed it is crazy, but somehow we have got through…..but next week is likely to be just as crazy as we had people leave yesterday so even with the ones that return on Monday from sick leave (that is if they do) we will still be short staffed………….it don’t get any easier!!! At least I now feel part of the furniture and not like the fish out of water that I was at first; mind you it took a while to get used to working with the admin team having worked almost alone in reception jobs for a long time before that.
Wedding plans for Kevin and Lucy are well under way now; the dress and bridesmaid’s dresses are chosen, invitations being sent out, and limo booked. Kevin is beingthe whittler, Lucy is taking it all in her stride but then that is what us women do best!! The function room we are using for the reception is undergoing a major refurb at the moment so it is highly likely that Kevin and Lucy’s reception will be the first one there when it re-opens.
So much for wanting to get in the garden this weekend, it is not looking as though it will happen as it is chucking it down out there at the moment We had made good progress, but as Sacha will not be going out there much at the moment (she is paper trained though) we can hope that it will improve next week so we can finish off the changes to the garden.
Anyway it is time for lunch so I will love you and leave you until the next time. TTFN and loads of love to you all
