Madonna and others
Well the big weekend has been and gone and it was all surprisingly well organised.
I was able to sit out in the back garden on Saturday night and listen to Madonna live and with a glass in my hand it was very pleasant. On Sunday hardly heard a thing despite only being a quarter of a mile from Mote Park. As I said everything was very well organised and there was no trouble either at the event or in Maidstone town itself. Parking did not seem to be a problem either and there were no reports of any congestion, so well done to Radio 1.
A friend of mine is trying to get me to go to and join a spiriulist church as they are convinced that it will do me good. Being rather cynical and doing the job I do which means I have to use a lot of objective logic I am not to certain about it. Has anyone any experience of spiritulism? Again maybe I am just an old cynic but you do here of people being almost brainwashed by this kind of thing.

I would have a go...just for the laugh. I am cynical too but then I do go to my local church which is very traditional. Just go to your local church..it is a great way to meet new people and they are not a bit pushy in C of E churches. Try it! Love Conniex

I like your idea of 'going to a concert' :) I've never been to one, but I'd prefer your option of sitting in the back garden just enjoying the music. Rache

Wow that must've been cool to sit out and hear Madonna performing :o) Glad you didn't get any trouble from it! Not sure about the spiritual stuff I think I would be a bit cynic too

Shame you didn't invite us all around to enjoy your 'private' Madonna party ! I have often aired my views of Spirtulist matters in my blog and so you may gather that i am very open minded about these things - i would say go and enjoy it, you might be pleasently surprised !
