Apparently, the European Court of Human Rights has agreed to hear a plea from a chimp that is hoping to be legally declared a person. I'm not sure how the chimp is supposed to go about making the plea, or how it's wishes to be declared human are known, but you can be sure vast amounts of tax payers money will be wasted on this endeavour.

Personally, I don't know what all the fuss is about. They give human rights to scousers and chavs, so why not chimps?

Since posting this entry, I have received a rather interesting email informing me that a fully grown chimp is strong enough to pull the arms off a human. If this is true, I've got plenty of ideas as to where they should start!

I know some full grown adults not half as smart as a chimp with a hangover. Why the hell would a chimp want to be like us?

One of the reasons that I read this journal is the humor. The unexpected gift of of education is a pleasant surprise. After scouring the Internet, I successfully located and learned the meaning of "chav".

We have an over abundance of the like here in the states, as well. It seems like the behavior of same is universal.
